COVID19 Advice

Number 12 - Last updated 9 Oct 2020

Dear Valued Customers

These continue to be challenging times as some locations open fully whilst others endure the hardship of a lockdown. As a small Australian business that delivers workshops across all Australian capital cities, many regional towns and into Singapore, our ability to deliver workshops is being significantly affected, requiring constant review and changes as each state and territory seeks to reopen.

If you have a seat booked for an upcoming workshop please check our website. Workshops adversely affected by COVID19 will have their status regularly updated, as follows:

CANCELLED – this means the workshop has been cancelled. Please await an email from us to arrange a full refund or credit to a future workshop.

SUSPENDED – this means the workshop has been temporarily suspended due to recent hotspot declarations, lockdowns or border restrictions. The suspension may be lifted if restrictions ease, otherwise a new date will be required. Please await an email from us advising you of the outcome.

NEW DATE ANNOUNCED – this means a new date for the workshop has been secured. Please await an email from us advising you of the updated workshop details.

Workshops not affected by COVID19 will proceed with the appropriate local COVID19 safety plans in place by the venue. Some workshops may require changes to the size of audiences therefore ticket sales may be limited until all restrictions are lifted.

Please check our website prior to contacting the office. Making changes to our workshops requires a great of deal work in liaising with trainers, venues, caterers, airlines etc. Please note that in some locations our communication with suppliers is being delayed due to their closure or reduced staffing levels. Please be patient as we work to secure new bookings.

Your rights are protected under consumer law for event cancellations. We advise reading the ACCC advice on this here.

Looking to 2021…

Work is under way on our 2021 calendar with new workshops being adding to our website from late September.

Did you know the last global economic downturn caused substantial increased demand for community services, putting more pressure on a sector that was already facing significant challenges. COVID19 is expected to surpass this! How should people be managed when fear is in the air, confidence is slipping, demand is rising and the road ahead will be rough? Read more about our Solution Focused Leadership workshop here.

We are taking bookings for in-house training, pupil free days and parent nights. We have a wide range of engaging trainers ready to help make your event bounce back with succession 2021.

Our online book store remains open as we continue to supply books and resources to assist professionals, teachers and parents dealing with issues such as anxiety.

We expect our next update will be on 26 Oct 2020 following the WA Government's next border announcement.

Thank you for your continued support and understanding.

Kind regards,

Ben Monaghan
