Laura Hawkins is a Mental Health Occupational Therapist and Clinical Family Therapist, with over 17 years of dedicated work in the mental health field. She has supported families, adults, young people, and professionals across a range of settings, including public mental health services and private practice.
Laura’s practice is grounded in a systemic approach, with a particular focus on working with young people and their families. Laura provides clinical supervision and training to professionals and organisations across the sector, driven by a passion for helping others reflect, grow, and strengthen their practice. Laura’s teaching has a focus on the practical application of theory and draws on her experience to bring concepts to life through creative and multi-modal interventions. She has been teaching in the field of mental health and family therapy for over a decade, and currently holds the role of Lead Teaching Associate at Phoenix Family Therapy Academy.
