A little bit about us...

Since 2009, Compass Seminars Australia has provided quality training to more than 50,000 mental health and educational professionals in Australia, Singapore and the United States.

Today Compass Seminars is a leading provider of Mental Health training and resources for mental health and education professionals working with children, young people and their families/carers. We host engaging events for the education, health and social service sectors throughout Australia and Singapore, covering over 30 locations. We offer the complete training experience, using the best training talent from Australasia and beyond. We base our workshops at the best available venues and support them with a fantastic range of additional services including seminar notes, mouth watering catering, convenient parking, civilised finish times, and much much more. We search the world to find the most up to date and relevant books and resources, and at many of our events we offer a professional bookshop showcasing our topics and trainers.

Our mission is to offer practical and engaging training opportunities that respond to the ever changing needs of counsellors, therapists, psychologists, psychiatrists, social workers, nurses, medical doctors, teachers, mental health professionals and more. We strive to provide proven training methods that focus on effective interventions and skill development. Our trainers are selected for both their knowledge, and their ability to present an engaging and stimulating manner. The workshops focus on beginner and advanced training, particularly in systemic family therapy, brief therapy, child and adolescent therapy, mindfulness approaches, motivational interviewing, sensorimotor psychotherapy, solution focused, narrative, emotion coaching, acceptance and commitment therapy, and others. All of our workshops assist registered professionals to meet their annual continuing professional development (CPD) requirements.
