NVR is an approach to parent guidance that pretty much revolutionized the field. It allows for the promotion of a new parental authority" that is based on presence, self-control, support and perseverance. The approach achieved a wide resonance with parents, counselors and therapists alike. Backed by more than 25 studies, NVR demonstrated the highest level of parental engagement in the literature, proving effective in improving the condition of children and adolescents with ADHD, conduct disorder, delinquency, anxiety disorders, OCD, eating disorders, internet addiction, suicidal tendencies and more.
