Grant Opportunities

Compass Seminars AUS is committed to supporting the development of Dyadic Developmental Psychotherapy (DDP) across Australasia and is pleased to invite applications from Australian practitioners for grants to assist with their professional development. Grants totalling $1500 are available in 2021.

Submissions are now open using the link below. Closing date is 30 June 2021. Grant winners shall be notified via email on 5 July 2021 and posted here and on social media.

Community Grants

Practitioners from the following areas are invited to apply for funding to assist in attending a 2021 DDP Level 1 workshop: 

  • from an Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander background;
  • from a rural or remote area; or
  • from a refugee background or work with refugees; or
  • work in a domestic violence service.

Two individual grants for DDP Level 1 workshop to the value of $750 AUD each.

Does receiving a Community Grant mean I am automatically registered to attend a DDP Level 1 workshop?

No. You must still register for your chosen Level 1 workshop. Seats are limited, book early to avoid disappointment. Normal ticket conditions will apply for your registration. 

I have already registered and paid for my 2021 workshop. If I am successful how do I use the grant?

We will refund you the value of your grant after you successfully complete the workshop.

Can the grants be used for attending a workshop hosted by the Australian Childhood Foundation?

No. Grants can only be used to attend Australian workshops listed here and hosted by Compass Seminars AUS .

Are the grants transferable?

No. The grants can only be used by the successful applicant and must be used by 31 December 2021.
