What student wellbeing programs and training does Compass Seminars offer?

Compass Seminars offers professional training workshops that give educators and school staff practical tools to support student mental health and wellbeing. The workshops build skills for supporting students experiencing emotional and behavioural dysregulation, anxiety, depression and trauma, rather than delivering programs directly to students.

Educators supporting students with anxiety or school refusal can also explore our childhood anxiety and depression training and school refusal strategies and program.

Workshops run for one to three days in cities including Adelaide, Brisbane, Cairns, Geelong, Melbourne, Newcastle, Perth, Sydney, Toowoomba and Townsville, and can also be delivered in-house at your school.

Who should attend these training workshops?

This workshop is for mental health and education professionals at all levels, and any professional who applies attachment theory, neuroscience and relational, behavioural and developmental science to their practice.

Education Professionals: All education professionals who work with children or youth including, but not limited to, K-12 classroom teachers, school counsellors, learning assistance and resource teachers, school administrators, school paraprofessionals including special education assistants, classroom assistants and early childhood workers, and all other professionals who support behavioural challenges and complex learning needs.

Mental Health Professionals: All mental health professionals including, but not limited to, counsellors, psychologists, psychotherapists, psychiatrists, social workers, nurses, occupational therapists, youth workers, mental health workers, family therapists, general practitioners, and all other mental health professionals looking to enhance their therapeutic skills.
